The Radisson SAS has quite rightly gained a reputation for being one of the best hotels for business in Leeds.

It is in the perfect location in the heart of the city, only 100 yards from the Town Hall and a short walk from the railway station. It is also central to the business district, the main retail areas and a plethora of bars and high quality restaurants frequented by the business fraternity.

Once you step inside the hotel you will be immediately impressed with the grandeur of the Grade II listed building. Prior to becoming the Radisson SAS Hotel, it used to be the headquarters of the Leeds Permanent Building Society and the reception, bar and dining area was formerly the banking hall. The meticulous restoration in 2002 ensured the elegance remained with wonderful art deco lighting, enormous windows and high-class décor.

The attention to detail and emphasis on quality continues throughout the hotel. All 107 Standard rooms and 40 luxurious Business Class rooms are uniquely designed and fully equipped for business guests. There are three bedroom themes available, namely Art Deco, Italian and Hi-Tech all of which have very different appeals and include complimentary WiFi Internet access.

Two dedicated meeting and event levels offer 7 fully equipped conference rooms catering for 2 to 60 delegates. The Mezzanine level has a relaxed atmosphere overlooking The Lounge whilst the Lower Ground provides a quiet and self contained area with high ceilings and lighting to give the appearance of natural light. Both designated areas offer adjoining breakout lounges where coffee breaks and buffet lunches can be enjoyed informally. These areas also provide an ideal setting for a drinks reception, networking events and private dining.

Our 4 dedicated boardrooms; the Paris, Helsinki, Brussels and Stockholm are perfect for smaller meetings and interviews. The Oslo, Amsterdam and Copenhagen offer more flexibility welcoming larger training events, seminars and presentations. All meeting rooms offer air-conditioning, and state-of-the-art technology including an LCD projector, and high speed Internet access.

The Presidential Boardroom is a stunning setting with oak panelling, stained glass, marble fireplaces and Art Deco furnishings. The original boardroom of the Leeds Permanent Building Society has been beautifully restored making it the perfect location for private dining, small weddings and striking meetings and events.

A newly improved facility is the Business Service Centre, which can be an ideal base for a conference organiser or provide convenient I.T. access for residential guests.

For those wishing to work in less formal surroundings, The Lounge is the perfect place to chat over a coffee and a drink. The Lounge Restaurant and Bar offers an extensive and exciting menu and a full range of wines, cocktails, beers and soft drinks.

Travelling by Road

From the M1, A1 or M62, join the M621 and come off the M621 junction 3 and take the signs for the City Centre (A653). Follow the signs for the City Loop. Follow the Loop up through City. The road (Quebec Street) will pass between City Square (area with a statue of the Black Prince on a horse). At the next set of traffic lights turn right onto East Parade. Turn right again at the next set of traffic lights onto The Headrow. At the next set of traffic lights turn left onto Cookridge Street and you will see the Radisson SAS hotel on the left.

Travelling by Train

Leave Train Station onto City Square heading North onto the Park Row. The Hotel is straight ahead at the corner of the Headrow and Cookridge Street within “The Light” Complex.

Travelling by Plane

Leeds Bradford International Airport, Follow the signs for the A658 and Leeds City Centre, follow the signs for B6152, bear left onto A65 to Leeds City Centre (8 miles), and join the Inner Ring Road keeping left. Take the first exit on the left to Westgate and Leeds City Centre. Turn right at the traffic lights onto The Headrow, the Town Hall is on your left and The Radisson SAS Hotel, Leeds is on Cookridge Street, the next left.
