There are four private rooms available for meetings and parties for up to 90 guests. Each room lends itself for a variety of uses whether it's an important business meeting, for which we are able to organise all the necessary equipment, or an intimate dinner party.

The hotel's parkland setting is ideal for outdoor activities, "away days", team building exercises, product launches and larger events. Fishing, shooting and golf for delegates can be arranged, either on the estate or nearby.

The hotel holds a licence for civil marriage ceremonies and, from December 2005, civil partnership ceremonies enabling both the formalities and reception to be held in style and comfort.

The Cavendish Room, the largest of the four rooms, is completely self-contained with its own bar, kitchens and dance floor. For larger numbers there are also facilities for marquee weddings.

Travelling by Road

The Devonshire is 5 miles east of Skipton and 16 miles west of Harrogate and is located on the B6160 road approximately 250 yards north of its roundabout junction with the A59 trunk road. The hotel is within easy reach of the M1, M6 and M62. Leeds and the M1 are 23 miles via the A65, M6 South (Junction 31) is 32 miles via the A59, and M6 North (Junction 36) is approximately 45 miles via the A59 and A65.
