Terms and Conditions Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. A booking remains provisional until a signed copy is returned to the hotel. General: These terms and conditions should be signed and returned within 7 days of the provisional booking being made. Your booking may be in jeopardy if they are not returned within this time. Prices are correct at the time of printing and Hotel du Vin reserves the right to alter prices without prior notice according to market fluctuations. Our supper licence allows us to serve drinks for functions until the following times: Weekdays and Saturdays: 12.00pm with a drinking up time of 20 minutes Sundays and bank holidays: 11.30pm with a drinking up time of 20 minutes. Parking is limited and is allocated to residents only on a first-come-first-served basis. Hotel du Vin accepts no responsibility to loss or damage to guest property. A discretionary 10% service charge will be charged to all lunch, dinner and wedding bookings. Private Lunch/Dinners: Wine and beverages should be ordered in advance, although we will only charge for what is used on the night. All food, wine and beverages will be charged to one main account. Unfortunately our private rooms do not have cash bar facilities. Meetings: Meetings will either be charged on a Day Delegate rate; 24 hour Delegate Rate or room hire basis. Cancellation policy: In the unfortunate event that you may need to cancel your booking, the following charges will apply: Lunch/Dinners: Notice: Charge: Less than 14 days 50% of the meal price per head Less than 48 hours 100% of the meal price per head Meetings: Notice: Charge: Less than 14 days 50% of the room hire / delegate rate per person Less than 48 hours 100% of the room hire / delegate rate per person If any accommodation has been reserved, please note that we require 24 hours notice to cancel individual rooms. In the event of group reservations, a cancellation period of 7 days prior to arrival for bookings of 5 rooms and 14 days prior to arrival for bookings of 10 rooms is required, to avoid our one night cancellation charge. Final numbers must be confirmed 48 working hours prior to the event. If you need to alter the numbers during this time a charge will be made for reduced numbers. Alternatively if your numbers increase we will attempt to accommodate the larger numbers accordingly. Payment details: Any outstanding amounts should be paid by one person, using one method of payment. If no payment is received a charge to the credit card number given will be made. Unfortunately we do NOT offer credit facilities. We pay agents commission on rack rate accommodation, and delegate rates only.
