The Imperial is situated in the beautiful Costwold town of Stroud which lies surrounded by rural beaty where five rivers and streams and their wooded valleys converge. The Regency style Subscription Rooms, purpose-built as an entertainment venue in the 19th Century, play host to an array of colourful events and Stroud has its own Fringe Festival and a Visual Arts Festival.
