Built some 300 years ago, this coaching inn has been restored with a liveley touch enhancing the embrace of heritage and period features with a very smart but informal character to create an ambiance that will make a visit or a stay memorable. The Regency style Subscription Rooms, purpose-built as an entertainment venue in the 19th Century, play host to an array of colourful events and Stroud has its own Fringe Festival and a Visual Arts Festival.
