A delightful hotel set in 17 acres of countryside, just minutes away from the heart of Oxford. This four star hotel part of Marston Hotels provides a most convenient base for exploring the countless number of interesting places and the beautiful countryside that abounds in this part of England. The original building, known as Brimpton Grange, dated back to the last century and is purported to have been, at one time, the home of the French Ambassador. Today the Oxford Belfry is a hotel with modern facilities.The hotel is centred around two classical courtyards. The conservatory enjoys view across one of these which has a fountain and a stone gazebo where you may even see a bride and groom having their photographs taken. The 130 bedrooms are well equipped and comprise doubles, twins and singles set around a courtyard with some opening directly onto the courtyard.
