The Best Western Banbury House Hotel is located just off junction 11 of the M40, approximately half way between London and Birmingham. This central location provides easy access for guests coming in from all over the country. The Best Western Banbury House Hotel is located in the centre of this pretty market town and has been a focus for local community life in Banbury for nearly 50 years. The hotel has 64 rooms and unusually 16 serviced apartments, which are located just off site form the main hotel. The bedrooms are of a very high standard with a crisp modern feel to them and include free Internet access along with all the other facilities you would expect of a top quality three star hotel. Three deluxe suites complete the choice of accommodation available to our guests.

The Banbury House has always enjoyed a reputation as a first class meeting venue and has recently undergone a full refurbishment of all its conference rooms. There are four in total the Upton Suite will cater for up to 90 people for dinner. This room is fully air-conditioned and has natural daylight. This room has pillars but interconnects with the Broughton Suite, which has a wonderfully high ceiling with some period features. Both rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard with heavy textured silk drapes and blinds which of set the muted cream walls and feature beech joinery. In complete contrast the Calthorpe is a fine example of everything a good meeting room should be, fully air conditioned, with CAT 5 lighting, also halogen spots and ambient dining lighting as required. An electronic screen and lovely high ceilings make this a very comfortable room for a small meeting up to 28 delegates. Nearby is the Drayton suite, situated to the back of the hotel this quiet room is ideal as a syndicate room or a meeting room in its own right and has the benefit of two large windows giving it a nice bright and airy feel. All rooms have access to our WI-FI system at no extra cost.

As a full service hotel –The Restaurant – offers guests some mouth-watering choices including our signature dishes of Smoked Haddock and Pancetta Fishcakes or try Pan roasted Chicken stuffed with Gorgonzola with a creamed Leek Risotto. Heavenly dessert s or local cheeses from the Midlands complete a marvellous treat for the tastebuds. However sometimes more informal dining is required and Bar 23 will provide a full range of dishes on a more traditional theme. Our bar is indeed the focal point for the hotel and has a full range of beers and good value wines all served in a contemporary modern environment. Finally the hotel benefits from a large welcoming lounge ideal for a quick cappuccino or a more leisurely afternoon tea.
