Rye ? |
| Conferences, meetings, and events in Rye in East Sussex (‘1066 Country’) will experience what they call the ‘medieval gem of the Cinque Ports’. Attractions include its hilltop location, many preserved buildings (especially in Mermaid Street), Associations with 18th century smuggling, landmarks like the Ypres and Landgate Towers, galleries and craft shops (and links with famous artists), plus the town’s strong bohemian tradition.
