As relaxed and easy-going as the city itself, Thistle Brighton is situated directly on the seafront and just a short stroll from the Pier, with some of the South’s best shopping, theatre and entertainment also within walking distance.

These days, there are a million things to do in Brighton. But in the 18th Century, there was only one activity people wanted to try: Dr Richard Russell’s sea-water cure. When the Prince of Wales (later George IV) became a convert to the new-fangled idea of bathing in the sea, London high society followed, and Brighton hotels have been welcoming visitors to the city ever since.

Thistle Brighton is situated directly on the seafront with stunning views out to sea and of the famous Pier. Our recently refurbished Atrium creates a spectacular entrance to the hotel and is a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the views whilst dining or drinking in the restaurant and bars. The majority of our 210 air-conditioned bedrooms benefit from views of the sea or the Pier and some our rooms have recently been refurbished including our Penthouse Suite which now offers an outdoor terrace with hot tub.

Thistle Brighton is one of our area’s prime locations for conferences and business meetings. We’re superbly located right on Brighton’s Promenade and just 1 mile from Brighton rail station. If you’re travelling by car, we have 68 spaces available on-site at an additional charge.

We have 9 meeting rooms, all air-conditioned and offering plenty of natural light to create a comfortable, productive environment. Our largest room, the Renaissance Suite seats up to 350 theatre style and is ideal for exhibitions. We have 8 smaller rooms suitable for seminars, team briefings and board meetings, plus break-out areas where you can stretch your legs, chat informally and catch up on your messages.

We offer a full range of food and drink during your time with us, including an expanded range of healthy options. Arrival drinks, elevenses, buffet lunches and afternoon tea can be served in your room, or you may choose to use our Promenade Restaurant and Atrium lounge.
