Traquair House is the oldest inhabited house in Scotland, set in the stunning Tweed Valley in the Scottish Borders near Innerleithen which is a truly breathtaking setting for your conference events and amazing as Traquair is only an hour from Edinburgh city centre and an hour and a half from Glasgow city centre. As well as being unique Traquair House prides itself on value for money providing the best level of customer service to cater for all your and you’re conferencing needs.

Traquair House has everything to offer that a modern conference centre has but Traquair has so many added features such as stunning and unique meeting spaces to inspire and impress, guaranteed exclusivity for every event you book so your event is the main focus to our staff therefore guarantying the very best customer service, hearty home cooked meals to fuel your delegates for their day, additional exciting extras to finish or start you’re delegates day such as a brewery tour with ale tasting or a team building event such as finding your way around the Traquair maze (planted with over 1,500 Cypress trees!).

All our conference rooms are unique and inspiring in themselves and in our conference rooms we can accommodate meetings from 5 delegates to around 70 delegates.

We can arrange all your catering requirements from coffee and shortbread on arrival in the Drawing room where your delegates can marvel at the fifth Earl of Traquair’s décor to the complete dinning experience as we offer private dinner parties in our dinning room where your delegates can sit around the nineteenth-century dinning room table and warm themselves by the eighteenth-century fireplace.

We can offer facilities not only for conferencing days but away days, activity days, team building days as Traquair House stands in over 100 acres of woodlands and lawns.
