Close to the M6, set in the open countryside of the National Park, the Famous Wild Boar is ideally situated for both business and recreational pursuits. This former Coaching Inn with oak beams, flagstone floors and log fires offers the perfect venue for any meeting. Our conference rooms are situated on the first floor. The Wild Board Room is a bright room with good natural light provides a quiet location for up to 40 delegates. It is air-conditioned, has ‘8-hour’ chairs and passes the Best Western criteria to be classed as an Executive Meeting Room.

The Winster Room is ideal for smaller meetings and interviews or as a syndicate in conjunction with the main meeting facility. With the warmest of welcomes, you can get down to business safe in the knowledge that your every requirement has been thought about and there is a team always ready to help ensure your event runs smoothly. Team building activities are also available and include clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, fishing etc – whatever you require. (These need to be arranged in advance).

You can be confident that you and your delegates will be looked after in our excellent Award Winning Wild Boar Restaurant with one of the largest wine lists in the area. Relax in the Cockpit Bar with real ales and with complimentary use of Low Wood Hotel Leisure Club relaxing should not be a problem. The Low Wood Leisure Club boasts a superb 50ft pool and large spa, extensive gym with personal trainers on hand. Dance Studio, Squash court or Sauna and Steam rooms. Travelling by Road

Off at Junction 36 of M6 Northbound or Southbound. A590/A591 towards Windermere. At Kendal North roundabout join B5284 to Crook. The Hotel is approximately 2 miles beyond Crook village heading towards Bowness-on-Windermere.
