Ambleside ? |
| Conferences, meetings, and events will value Ambleside as the capital for Lake District hiking and rock-climbing (surrounded by fells, lots of outdoor clothing shops), its closeness to the Rydal Mount and Gardens home of William Wordsworth, as well as water sports and boat trips on Lake Windermere.
