Novotel Newcastle is situated on the A1(M) just 4 miles from Newcastle City Centre and ideally located for Newcastle International Airport, local shops and the regional Metro train just a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is set in its own grounds and has over 200 complimentary car parking spaces on site. All of our 126 en-suite bedrooms have been recently refurbished this includes 31 superior ‘Novation’ bedrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with double or twin beds with a duvet, sofa bed or armchair, iron & ironing boards, satellite TV, modem points, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. The Novation bedrooms also boost a mini bar & a safe. We are also able to offer WiFi internet access in some rooms. Residential guests also get full use of the hotels swimming pool, mini gym & sauna.

Relax and unwind in the hotel bar. Guests can enjoy a drink and relax while watching a wide range of sporting events televised in our bar and can choose from our bar menu which offers sandwiches & light snacks. Visit our Garden Brasserie Restaurant, which offers a wide range of food whatever your taste. Full English Breakfast or Continental Breakfast will be served, in the Garden Brasserie, from 6am - 9.30am. A 3 course Chef’s Choice Buffet is served over lunchtime for guests and after a long day choose from our specially designed evening menu.

Novotel Newcastle has 6 specially designed meeting rooms. Our main function suite comfortably caters for 200 delegates, has a private bar and access to the car park – ideal for product launches, small exhibitions or conferences. There is also three syndicate rooms, perfect for interviews and board meetings, and two additional seminar rooms. All meeting rooms have natural light, automatic projection screens, blackout curtains, air conditioning, WiFi access, induction loops, multiple power points, telephone/modem points and a full range of audio visual equipment and support services available. All meeting rooms come with pens, paper and name cards for all delegates. Mineral water and mints are put on every table. Our efficient and professionally trained staff will be on hand to ensure that your event runs smoothly and that everyone feels comfortable and relaxed.

Our Ark Royal Suite has been designed with private functions in mind enabling us to comfortably accommodate from 25 to 150 guests for a daytime reception and up to 180 for an evening buffet. The suite has its own dance floor and space for whatever type of entertainment you choose. The room has a private bar or alternatively your guests may use our comfortable lounge, bar and foyer areas. Novotel Newcastle is also holds a licence for Civil Ceremonies, enabling you to have a Wedding of your choice in our hotel with comfortable surroundings and a personal atmosphere.
