GUEST ROOMS The hotel offers 272 attractive rooms in five different design styles: Art Deco, Scandinavian, Oriental, Italian and British that allow guests to choose a décor to suit their mood. For guests looking for more space and an extra touch of luxury, we offer four Penthouses, three King Studios and 11 Junior suites. All rooms and suites are equipped with individual climate control, wireless internet and in-house movie channels. Other guest amenities include Express Check-out, 24-hour room service, full valet service and 3-hour Express Laundry. For guests who are driving to our hotel, an NCP car park is located beneath the hotel.

MEETINGS & EVENTS Conference and banqueting suites make up the entire first floor of the hotel and have a separate entrance. Most of the hotel’s 11 suites have floor to ceiling windows that offer a warm welcome and an abundance of daylight. We offer flexible and first class conference facilities for an intimate board meeting for six or a theatre style conference for 600. All our suites are equipped with high-quality amenities and conference technology, and additional specialised equipment can be requested from our conference staff, who are always on hand to help you.

The Portman Ballroom is one of the largest conference and banqueting facilities in the centre of London. This elegant room can host up to 550 people for a banquet or 600 for a conference, combining the latest technology with sophisticated design. Discreet sliding partitions can be used to create smaller soundproof rooms, offering the flexibility required of a modern event facility. The adjoining Montagu Suite is a stylish venue for dining and meetings, but can also be used as a pre-banquet hospitality suite or registration room. It caters for up to 80 dinner or luncheon guests and up to 90 for meetings. Berkeley and Gloucester Suites are two connecting suites which combine perfectly for theatre style meetings up to 150. Both suites offer floor to ceiling windows while the larger Gloucester suite can accommodate up to 100 theatre style. Overlooking leafy Portman Square, the three bright, airy and modern connecting suites, Bryanston, Seymour and Devonshire, offer extensive daylight. They have a conference capacity of up to 160 people theatre style and banquet facilities for up to 190 guests.

FOOD & ENTERTAINMENT Our international team of top chefs prepare cuisine of the highest calibre from around the world. Conference organizers may choose from an extensive list of menus, from fork buffet to four courses, tailored to accommodate all tastes and budgets. Alternatively, planners are welcome to specify their choice of menu. The hotel’s Portman restaurant offers international cuisine with a French touch in a relaxed setting, with buffet and a la carte choices. Another favourite with guests is traditional afternoon tea, served at the welcoming fireside lobby. Guests can also enjoy a selection of coffees in the coffee bar, while perusing the morning paper. The hotel is happy to arrange individual and block theatre bookings for all the popular West End shows, just let us know during booking or check-in.

FITNESS & RELAXATION After a busy day of meetings, the fitness centre on the second floor with sauna, steam room, gymnasium and massage facilities is the perfect place to unwind. The concierge will be happy to arrange horse riding in the nearby Hyde Park or tennis on our floodlit court in Portman Square.
