The Copthorne Merry Hill Dudley is an impressive, modern hotel and conference centre, set in the heart of the Midlands’ Black Country. Its in a superb position overlooking the Waterfront Canal Marina – a vibrant community of homes, business, restaurants and bars, thriving beside one of the waterways in this lovely part of England.

With 138 4 star guest rooms including suites, club and classic rooms the hotel is ideally situated for visiting many of the attractions in the area including Cadbury World, Dudley Zoo and Castle and The Merry Hill Shopping Centre. It boasts the largest self-contained, conference centre in the area with over 778 sq. metres of space, and is Dudley’s leading venue for meetings and events.

The jewel in its crown is the air-conditioned Earls Suite, a vast, bright room with uninterrupted space in which to hold almost any kind of event, from a prestigious car launch, with full staging, to a lavish reception for up to 550 guests. It has a sophisticated sound and lighting system as well as a range of advanced technical equipment, and can be sub-divided into two soundproofed rooms. The Earls Suite has its own private entrance as well as a spacious foyer complete with bar, cloakroom and restrooms.

As distinctive as the Earls Suite, but not quite as large, is the Caslon Suite, with a special style of its own. This can also be subdivided into two sizeable rooms, either of which is ideal for a cabaret or classroom setting, large board meetings and elaborate dining. There’s a private reception area and bar, too, with a cloakroom and restrooms. In addition, there are four excellent, purpose built boardrooms, each of which can accommodate up to 12 for a meeting or dining. All benefit from natural daylight and can be used as break out rooms for conferences held in either the Earls or Caslon Suites.
