Travelling by Train

2 mintutes walk from Birmingham New Street Station.

Travelling by Road

Less than 1km from Birmingham city centre. From M42- East Midlands Join M6, head towards Birmingham City Centre, leave the M6 at Junction 6 and follow directions for M6 below. From M40- Oxford and South Join M42 then you have two options to take, M5 or M6. The quickest way is to leave the M6 at Junction 6 and follow the directions for the M6 as detailed below. From M5- South Take Junction 3 of the M5, come to the island take the 3rd exit onto the A456 to Birmingham City Centre. Signs will show you Birmingham West and Central. Follow signs for NIA. After 5 miles move into the right hand lane, (you are approaching 5 ways island). Go under the underpass which will bring you onto Broad Street, you will see lots of pubs and restaurants. Carry on until you will pass the NIA on your left and a tall glass building on your right, move into the right hand lane bringing you into Paradise Circus, take the 3rd exit bringing you onto Suffolk Street Queensway, then take 1st left you will see a red multi storey Car Park (which looks like a cage), go to the bottom of the road and turn left. Go straight over the traffic lights, follow road round (short one way system). At junction go straight over into NCP Car Park. From M6- North and South On approaching junction 6 you will see the signs for Birmingham Central and North East. Come off at Junction 6, take A38 (M) and stay in the middle lane, follow signs to Birmingham Central until you see the end of the motorway sign, get in left hand lane there will be a sign for New Street Station and Aston University. As you come to the island which is called Lancaster Circus take the 1st exist (James Watt Queensway), right turn at traffic lights, after crossing road junction turn 1st left (Dalton Street) and continue to end of road, make a right turn at Junction (Newton Street). Take left turn at junction (Corporation Street) proceed to island and continue straight on (Square Peg Bar on your right) along Corporation Street continuing straight through the shopping area. At the 3rd set of pedestrian crossing lights (HSBC Bank on your left) the road becomes Stephenson Place, follow the road round a 90 degree right hand bend (Stephenson Street) to find the Hotel on your right. From National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham International Airport. Take sign for A45 go over several islands, take A45 Coventry Road towards City Centre for approximately 6 miles. You will come to a major Island, which is Watery Lane Middleway. Take 2nd exit (A45) and proceed towards Junction (A41) at the railway overbridge. Turn right at traffic lights and continue straight ahead until road diverges to the left (just after the Dubliner Pub). At the traffic lights go straight ahead or middle lane up to the church ahead of you, take a left hand lane and proceed along. Follow the road round a 90 degree left hand bend-uphill drive along road approx quarter of a mile to traffic lights, turn left into Ryder Street and immediately left into Dalton Street – continue to the end of the road, turn right into Newton Street then turn left into Corporation Street straight on at island (Square Peg Bar on your right hand side) Proceed straight through the shopping area at the 3rd set of pedestrian crossing lights (HSBC Bank on your left) the road becomes Stephenson Place, follow the road round a 90 degree right hand bend (Stephenson Street) to find the Hotel on your right.
