| Conferences, meetings, and events will appreciate this historic market town (which has had associations with hosiery manufacture and shoe-making) for its local attractions that include nearby Twycross Zoo (50 acres of parkland and close to 1000 animals), thatched Hinckley Museum (local heritage and hosiery), and the 12-mile Horse-Drawn Tours centred at Wykin. Venues include a choice of branded conference-minded hotels, smaller properties, as well as culture/heritage settings.
Proximity to the site of Bosworth Battlefield (visitor centre and interpretation), Mallory Park racing, the Ashby Boat Company (narrowboat cruising), and to the vibrant cities of Coventry and Leicester, are further plus points.
